I set up my em@il (yahoo) bout week ago when i got my n900 but:

-i noticed there are no setting for sub folders (i have few tho..)
-no filters (so i keep recieving all sorts of spam...) when i connect to some wifi, but i mean seriously everything (funny thing is i only get the one which goes to my main not the one which are forwarded to subfolders by my filter on yahoo) no chance to see those
-than after i noticed that i cant send only recieve
i tried to chnge all sorts of settings (eaven STMP) as it told me but nothing seem to help

When can we expect some sort of update for all the lil things that grind our gears???

Btw is there any forum for all the other lil things that we can constructvley complain to somebody like u "vitaly_repin" that listen?

It seems like it's still missing basic features!

Or maybe I'm just missing how to do them;

- Searching. How in the world do I search for a message? I have just come from the iphone where it takes seconds to search through the messages downloaded on the phone and after that you can choose to continue the search on the server. why oh why can't I do that in modest?

- Autocomplete of addresses. When I start typing someones name, I want the client to search through the address book and suggest matches, that I can just click on.

- Storing messages on the phone. Each time I open modest it connects to the server and downloads all messages. I want it to store the most recent 200 messages (not just headers) on the phone, so that it's quicker to load AND I can see them if I'm offline.

I tried claws but it failed a basic test -when I forwarded a message to someone it was unreadable in their phone; it had been put in a file or something.

How can I get an improved version of modest!?
