I've perused several threads about bluetooth or PC suite and didn't find a solution to this so here it goes.

My N900 sync'd with my PC via Bluetooth initially when I got my N900 a couple of weeks ago. Now it won't do it over Bluetooth, but it does it fine over the USB cable. Why is this? How do I get it to work over Bluetooth again?

With the Bluetooth turned on, on both the N900 and PC, the PC does detect the device. An N900 icon with "(PC Suite)" next to it shows up in the My Computer window on Windows Vista. When I click on this icon, it shows "0 Objects" in the folder. Of course there should be my file folders (Images, Audio, etc), which do show up if I connect over the USB cable. Anyway I've been trying to figure this out for a couple of weeks and it's getting annoying having to plug the USB in every time, such as today I was updating my contacts and in PC Suite it kept saying it couldn't refresh the contacts list and not a single contact would show up until I retried it with the USB cable plugged in. Thanks for your help.

Seeing as about 60 people read this and no one suggested any solutions, I took it upon myself to experiment and search for the answer. I read a few other threads on similar issues, without solutions. I decided to delete the paired PC from the N900, uninstall PC Suite from the PC, restart the N900 and the PC, reinstall PC Suite on the PC, reset the paired bluetooth device passkey, so pretty much got rid of everything and started fresh, and it worked. I was again able to sync to PC Suite over bluetooth. If the same issue happens again, I'll try this same sequence again.

Did you delete the PC from the N900's bluetooth devices then re-pair the PC?

When I reinstalled PC Suite on the PC and re-paired the N900 I noted several drivers being installed (I believe it was four of them). Previously there would be a pop up window stating that drivers were missing. I didn't go search for the drivers, I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything and deleted the PC off the devices list on the N900 and re-paired the N900 to the PC and it worked.

Hi,
I have the same problem.

Did you paired the N900 to the PC and than to PC-Suite ?
Tried it on 2 Computers (Win-XP) no success.

Make it sense to reflash the N900 ?

Thanxs for help ?
