Where are the steps in installing a ps3 controller to the n900? I have windows 7 64bit but I hvae the windows xp mod einstalled if need be.

Also I isntalled a sixaxis support file into the n900 and it wanted a reboot becuase it was a OS update and after it rebooted the n900 it said OS update success.

Was this a OS system update or something I thought it was a regualr program install?

The reboot thing is completely normal--the SixAxis packages have to install some new modules into your phone's kernel (namely joystick support) and it needs to reboot for that to work.

As for getting it to actually work, the process is (mostly) straightforward. What you have to do is tell the PS3 controller about your phone (pair it) over USB with the sixpair tool, which can be found here: http://tomasz.sterna.tv/2010/02/play...is-controller/

When you're done paring the controller with your phone, make sure bluetooth is on, and then hit the PS button in the middle of the controller. The controller's LED's will flash for a few seconds, and then connect with the phone. You'll know you have a successful connection when the #2 LED on the controller lights up and the bluetooth icon on the phone turns blue.

Which commands did you put in?

A successful pair should give you output similar to this in the terminal:

Code:
Current Bluetooth master: <PS3 BT MAC here>
Setting master bd_addr to <Your N900 BT MAC here>
