i tray unimstall extra support and then reinstall .... but steel same missing erorr

where can i found the gstreamer pack??

first install rootsh from app manager
then go to xterminal
type "sudo gainroot"
then apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-subtitles

and then install Subtitles Support

Looks like it depends on a newer internal version that will be included in PR1.2 (next public release). Hence waiting is probably the only option.

I had the same problem as you do. Here's how I solve the problem:
1. download the gstreamer plugin file to local drive
2. Open X-terminal, run sudo gainroot first
3. go to the directory where you store the plug-ins file
4. use dpkg -i XXXX.deb to install
5. go to app mgr to install subtitle

I suppose it's the problem of access right. If you click to run the .deb file directly, you can't get the plugin installed, but if you go to X-terminal and get root first, then you can insta...
