I believe if you have auto-connect set, even if you disable internet (dbus, fcron) it will re-enable itself within X minutes.

Anyone know the command lines to autologin to skype so I can create a script?
has anyone worked out a way to automate Skype in terms of setting a connection a x time, and making user as available, and then at x time, disconnecting skype and setting user as unavailble?
