Hi, guys, got a question to ask. I brought a extra AC-10X for n900 as a spare, I brought it from Expansys(uk), however I received it in a plastic bag instead of retail packaging. I wonder if it is real Nokia product. Anyone got any ideas?

Many thanks

Maybe its OEM packaging not retail, it's cheaper that way.

My AC-10U has a matte finished panel from which the prongs protrude. Above the centerline as you hold the adapter in front of you so you can read the writing are two screwheads of a non-standard type. These are at the outboard edges.

A glossy border surrounds a section of this panel adjacent to where the power cord exits. This reads FWHK; a V in a circle; two concentric quares, The UL symbol with C on the left and US on the right; and Listed 11FH I.T.E.Power Supply (on three lines).

On the side is lightly engraved or printed NOKIA and a lot of hard to read information and a small 3D bard code. It says, in part, "For Indoor Use Only"

The top of the adapter has a glossy panel with a matte edging; the panel is marked with a raised "NOKIA".

The tip of the power cord has an incused "B" in a raised square panel and a raised USB symbol below not on the square panel but in a shallow releif. This assumes you are holding the adapter end so you can read the "B" in it's normal orientation.

I hope this helps. The X charger may be entirely different but this is what a known genuine AC-10U looks like. I can not see any reason for the phone end to vary based upon the wall end.

Expansys are a reliable company, if it says Nokia anywhere on it, it's most likely legit.

This is what is should look like
