I am curious that when I get bluetooth GPS unit for 770. How big are the maps? I would either want all of the united states or all of PA,NY. Thanks

Are you talking about Maemo Mapper, or NaviCore?

MM downloads maps based on your zoom preference. If you download all the zoom levels you are going to need a lot of space. Like in gigabytes for PA/NY. You can play with zoom levels and see the size before you go download.

NaviCore comes with 2Gb SD card with maps for US and Canada. But they use different format and the maps (I believe) are not images (like in MM).

NaviCore seems that it lacks support for US. So I guess MM is the solution

Allow myself to quote myself

Now this was the case for me as I bought US version of the kit that included the GPS receiver, car mount bracket and software/maps.
