So I was following this guide here to try to set up my N900 to connect to internet through my pc via bluetooth.
When I came to the part where you are supposed to create your dummy network with gconftool-2 and it told me to type in following:

Code:
gconftool-2 -s -t string /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/DUMMY/name 'Dummy Network'
Instead of typing in 'Dummy Network' I just typed

Code:
gconftool-2 -s -t string /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/DUMMY/name bluehome
Without those quotes.
After that other networks but the one I am hooked up to shows up when I go into "Internet Connection" in the menu.
Though I can see the networks if I go into "Settings/Internet Connections/connections" and scan for available networks.

Can any of you Linux-pro's figure out what has happened, or do I have to reinstall the whole thing?

Thanks in advance
