it seems their internet connection is unstable this past few days. i get disconnected every once in a while on 2g. 3g is way more unstable as speed fluctuates and get disconnected. this happens even with 4-5 bars...

i know speed varies when there's lot of users but the drastic drop like 15 kbps is not normal...

anyone experiencing this too?

Well, I thought it was the phone! Yeah, it keeps losing connection, dropping from 3.5 to 3G to 2.5 then back again, etc...

It's been doing it ever since I got to San Francisco here, and I thought maybe it was because of my proximity to the airport, both the hotel and my jobsite.

Pretty solid in sunny south Florida. Locked in on 3G.

i live in San Francisco as well... and on my bus commute from downtown to the Presidio i get clear all the way, no drops. (i usually stream internet radio while on the bus)

I have seen it shift from 3.5 to 3g but it doesn't disturb my connection at all

No problem like that in Oklahoma City. I have crappy 3G speeds 99/100 of the time (.80 Mbps Up/ .35 Mbps down) I have full bars most of the time. Sounds like a SF Bay area issue.

I'm from daly city.. and yes, sometimes, im having the same problem.. i mostly get 2g than 3g inside our house.. but the "2g/3g" apps from the repos do the job on keping the 3g connection whenever im using the browser..

I've experienced connection issues too, I thought it was my bomb shelter of a school though.

On an aside, how many other G73 owners are here? Is that the BB05 Model that you have chase15?

It might be due to the google conference going on right now. They give out new phones at these conferences and it might be on the T-Mobile network-they have done this in the past. So with tens of thousands of people just suddenly getting on the network it might slow it down a bit. These are 3g phones. Just a thought.
