with the titan's kernel you can set the frequence from 125mhz
up to 1.15ghz with a terminal command and it works with pr 1.2, so you don't need to update

Titan's kernel is 1.2 COMPATIBLE..
You can upgrade while using Titan's kernel!
Titan's kernel uses Xterm to overclock (or you can be sneaky and use queenbee con widget for auto OC).

chase15 - While jakiman's guide is pretty long, the instructions are just as simple as flashing, if not simpler. Perhaps that you aren't (apparently) willing to sit through the instructions or want to be spoon fed commands is an indication that you shouldn't be overclocking your n900? I would hate for someone to tell you the exact commands, and you complain because your n900 is bricked...
