when i deleted some tracks from the phone but theough the comp in mass stoeage mode the tracks didnt disapear from the list in media player. icant play them but the titles albums... are still in the list. it is annoying when i try to search the media player. i tried to remove the battery for 5min but still same thing

You have to reset the media player. I don't remember how. I thought a reboot would have done it.

I'll help by bumping your thread.

tracker-processes -r
then restart the media player
If it's too stubborn to reset the db

tracker-processes --hard-reset
