i just a new user of N900. After a few days i have used the phone, i found that it was good enough. But during the multi tasking, when i surfing the web n i play the music....the song will stuck in the half way..and the sometime i wan to open an application , it take long time to load. How can i make the phone become more sensitive and faster?

i opened two applications.one was the web browser n the other was the music player.i have experienced many time tis problem.

I've done 2 tricks to make the phone snappier:
1) Overclock to "ideal" settings
2) MicroSD swap + decrease swappiness

Both are extremely dangerous and require perfect understanding of what you're doing, so I won't describe these in details, however you can always read correspondent threads and wiki entries.

I have a simple question. I have heard of the second one you mentioned dealing with microSD. I am interested in doing this since i will be buying one soon but if you cant explain in detail at the moment can you direct me where i can read more info on this and how great is the difference.

I have Ideal OC right now but now i want to do the microSD. Any suggestions?

I dont know about multi tasking but if you want to improve the snapiness of the device then check out the transitioncontrol app.

@little_beat what does "microSD swap + decrease swapieness" do? I thought moving things to the memory card made things slower, or have i missunderstood what it means?

Overclocked to 900mhz and added menu transitions MOD.

Device is really fast and have been for the past 2 months. Just waiting for PR1.2 to maybe make it even faster.
