I have been using the MAFW renderer plugin with equalizer with my N900 for a couple of months and really like it in spite of the fact that it does incur in a performance hit for the device. But, I rather have that than a punch-less sound experience when listening to my music in my car.
Any way, I see that there has been no update on the plug-in since February:
I imagine that there must have been some updates to the mafw-gst-renderer since then. So, I feel a bit hesitant to install the forked one now that I have Pr 1.2 installed.
I tried to leave a comment on the site but it keeps saying that my math is wrong. Any way, has any one tried this with Pr 1.2?

I installed and tested both and noticed no difference at all in the sound output. I use an EQ for my pc ALL the time and I tried loads of different filter sets such as cutting off trble to notice a difference and I couldn't hear any differences :/

The website says that this plugin is a fork from mafw-gst-renderer that ships with the device.
