Has anyone had an issue when overclocking that there FM trasmitter .... er doesnt work?

Technical term avoided...

I used the Power Kernel throught the Repo's, and was working away fine, then last night, i went to turn my car into the usual mobile disco, and FM trasmitter, wouldnt work.

Upon trying to save the transmitter as on, it cam up 'FM Trasmitter is unavailble' or something very similar...

Changed back to Nokia kernel, (The Scary Way, with the de-install kernel tab) Thank god it worked, an my transmitter worked fine.

Anyone seen similar happenings, with there transmitter when using these overclocking kernels. It was working fine too, and was truly loving how straight my green line was in battery eye (Lost approx 5% battery if i was lucky in the 8 hours i slept ), with the Load set to ideal.....

Its working for me.

Im using the ideal configuration with the power-kernel version 2.6.28.10power37 (as uname -r says)

Thats the extras-testing version right now.

What version you were using?

Maybe your fm-transmitter needs only a phone reboot to work, and not a kernel reflash

I'm using the most current kernel from Extra's Devel without anything fancy and I have not modified it at all.
My FM TX works fine..

Do a restart of the phone (Obvious - but could help)?

Yeah thats the same version as me. Out of extras testing.

I had rebooted the device a few times, as i had installed it on Monday night, then spent some time yeserday, makin a new boot video... So it was on an off a few times.

It just wouldnt work, and although, im starting to get the basics, on the old 'Moddin' my N900 - im no Guru...
