Is it possible to port Deluge to Fremantle? There's already an ARM port in Debian Packages

That's no reason not to.

Deluge is written in python, so porting wouldn't be a huge problem, but it can be a bit of a cpu hog. Maybe when they release μTorrent for Linux there'll be an arm port - that would be nice!

So, no one's interested? ;_;

While utorrent is good, I'd rather an open source Client.

One of the reasons I prefer Dluge is that some sites ban clients. Deluge is one of the only ones that allow me to use linux with my sites without having it being banned after a new release. For me Deluge is stable!

Well that latter bit sounded really good. Transmission just glogs up my entire phone.

If I leave a download on and let my phone's screen go dark, there's no way of waking it up anymore. I have to remove the battery :F

Why do you need to download torrents to your cellphone??? I think a better idea would be to use some sort of GUI to control torrent on a normal computer.

Well, at least I have my computer in the same room I'm sleeping in so if I leave my computer on at night it's sound keeps me awake all night. And Transmission works perfectly fine for me (my N900 isn't even overclocked). You just have to keep the lock-switch down a few seconds until the screen lights up and then wait a bit more to see the picture.
