I have a laptop computer and i live in greece.
Here the temperatures are high through the summer 26-40 c. I am worried about the main proccesor of my laptop its an AMD TURION x2 64. I used speedfan and the cpu temperature was 75 celsiuous. Is this safe? thank you again.

the cpu is probably fine. but keep an eye on your gpu. I have a HP tx2z with the same cpu. The combination of cpu heat and gpu heat (ati 3000HD) desoldered the gpu from the board - I had to send it back to HP for repair. (this was during canadian winter)

I bought both my kids laptop cooler pads. Not sure in Greece, but you can get at best buy here for 20-40$ US.

Both my kids have HP systems and they both get very hot. They actually will shutdown if they get two hot.

Most all laptops out there now have settings in the BIOS to shutdown the system if it overheats, and you can usually alter these in the BIOS.

The cooling pads work great, I would suggest one that just powers off of a standard USB cable. The one I bought with USB micro at one end and just standard USB on the other worked better than the one with Standard USB on one end and a power receptical on the other. It also make replacing the cable much easier.

Thats my two cents.
