How can I install Skype in my N900. Skype id disabled in indian firmware. When I try to reflash global firmware, my Windows VISTA 64-Bit is creating driver signing problem and I don't have any 32-Bit XP.

I can't download it from OVI store because over there it says "Pre-installed". Is there any way i can install Skype separately?

Youll need to flash to the global firmware. Using vista 64bit, you can do this by simply creating a virtual machine running xp32 if available, or any flavour of linux you like.

Skype is not a separate application on the N900 as it's integrated into the closed source dialing program. Didn't realize it was disabled in the India firmware for Maemo5, but that shouldn't be a huge problem.

You're on the correct track by flashing with the global firmware, but I see you're having PC related problems with that.

You could always use the Linux flasher utility. I've always used it since the Windows based one is rubbish.

If you don't have a Linux PC to run the Linux based flasher utility with, you can just just use any old Linux distro's LiveCD to boot your computer into a Linux OS for just as long as it takes to flash.

I do not think you can. Skype is included into the OS by default.
Try reflashing the firmware via live cd ubuntu. You can use search for "reflashing via ubuntu".

I have to use this myself as my work laptop got "upgraded" to Windows 7 64-bit, and thus the Windows flasher doesn't work for me anymore.
