hello guys.
maybe my problem isn't much serious but i would like to know whats going on.
so if i make an apt-get update i get this confusing message at the end:
Reading package lists... Done
W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://repository.maemo.org fremantle-1.3/free Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/repository.maemo.org_extras_dists_fremantle-1.3_free_binary-armel_Packages)
W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://repository.maemo.org fremantle-1.3/non-free Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/repository.maemo.org_extras_dists_fremantle-1.3_non-free_binary-armel_Packages)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

any suggestions ???

I have the same issue and was letting it slide.
I think or am guessing that it may have something to do with manually puitting repos in both regular as well as faster application manager?

But even if harmless I would like this resolved as well.

I used to have those with PR1.2 when my N900 was still working.
When I flashed both rootfs and eMMC, they went away, and have stayed away even after I added maemo-test and maemo-devel repositories. I have not installed Faster Application Manager though now in this PR1.3, I did have it in PR1.2

Sounds like you might have some duplicate repositories set up. From the command line, the repository lists are in /etc/apt. The main file is sources.list, which on my device is empty. Other lists are in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. I have only "hildon-application-manager.list in there, but it is possible to have multiple files. They will all be combined together when you run apt.

So I'm saying you need to check the files under /etc/apt to see if you have any duplicate entries.

Don't change these files without saving a copy!
