Hi Guys I'm a broken record but I just cracked open a beautifull N900 here in Canada. I have the dreaded Exchance Requires A Secured Connection or the Account is dissabled erro.

I have been reading all the posts this week end and the closest possible solutions I can find are the enable onprovisioned phones on Exchange2007 with the latest SP.

I have also used this set on instructions below

__________________________________________________ __Have you tried simply saving the certificate using Internet Explorer?

You can usually access your Exchange Server account via a web interface - ask your systems administrator for the web address - and if you do this using Internet Explorer you can simply click on the padlock (that will appear next to the web address bar) to view the certificate

Click on the padlock and then click on 'View Certificate'. Then click on the 'Details' tab at the top followed by the 'Copy to File...' button at the bottom. Click on 'Next >' and select PKCS (.P7B) and tick the 'Include all certificates' and click on 'Next >' again. Choose a folder and name to save it (I'd choose the desktop to make life easier - call the file whatever you want) and then click on 'Next >' again. Then click on 'Finish' to complete the process.

Now find that file on your desktop and double click on it. It should open a new window probably showing two panes with a folder. Double click on the folder and continue double clicking on subsequent folders until you come across one or more certificates displayed in the bigger right-hand pane. This is where you'll find the certificate you need to install on your N900.

If you double click on each certificate it will open a window similar to the window that opened when you clicked on the padlock on Internet Explorer. Double click on each one and you will find that most of the certificates will be issued by one of the certificates in your list which will have been self generated.

You need to now save the self-generated certificate by clicking on the 'Details' tab at the top followed by the 'Copy to File...' button at the bottom. Click on 'Next >' and this time select Base-64 encoded (.CER) and click on 'Next >' again. Choose a folder and name to save it (again just choose the desktop to make life easier and call the file whatever you want) and then click on 'Next >' again. Then click on 'Finish' to complete the process.

You now need to import this .CER file on your N900. Copy the file across to your N900, then open the File Manager, find the file you copied across and select it. Your N900 will display details about the certificate but this time it should include an 'Install' button which you should tap on. And that's it - you should then be able to sync with your office Exchange.[/SIZE].

I have also done this.

I have updated to the latest firmware. My cert is self signed with a CA .

Any screen shots or videos with tutorials on how to do this properly would be a great help. Not sure what is going wrong.

Thanks
