I can confirm this behaviour. I also couldn't find a bug report. If this is common problem one shoudl be filed.

I've the same bug, it's really annoying because it takes 15 seconds to load all of my 500 contacts for who I don't have specified birthday.
Anybody know a solution ?

Not having this problem, but maybe deleting the birthday calendar entirely and then setting up another new smart calendar?
That usually sorts out smart calendar bugs.

All my contacts, that have no birthday entered, are displayed
in the calendar to have birthday on November the 30th.
