Hey does anyone know how i can install thishttp://wiki.maemo.org/LED_Pattern_Editor onto my n900 via xterminal? since i cannot install anything through device manager.

The page you linked to does not have an application to install, it's explaining how to edit /etc/mce/mce.ini to make your own patterns.
Probably what you want to do is in a terminal as root (or through the repository in the usual way)
apt-get install led-pattern-editor
I think it's in 'testing' so you might need to add this if you haven't already.
