Not sure on a fix, but I'll add a 'me too' - I noticed it just today for the first time, it only shows very briefly before it sorts itself out though.
Edit: must be theme related, I switched, pixel thing does not happen anymore.
I guess my next question is why the ovi store is telling us it's not available for the N900.
