I wanted to try an alternative gba emulator to VGBA on my n900 , so i thought i would give visualboyadvance a try .
the easiest way i thought of was running it under easy debian , i knew it would run at a very slow speed , but i gave it a try , both the sdl and the gtk interfaces work , and it runs at ~ 40 % full speed , that was already expected ,
so i tried to install it on maemo , by downloading the .deb from the debian repositories , and after a nightmare of manually extracting and installing it and its dependencies , the sdl version runs at the same speed it did in easy debian (may be even slower) 0_0 , and the gtk version doesn't run at all even after satisfying all the dependencies , it exits with symbol lookup error , refering to /lib/libgdkmm-2.4.so.1
any ideas ?
