No, this poll is not a typo. A ripoff of the iPad called iPed has been launched in China with a fifth of the price of the original one.
The device has Android as the OS and is open source. Me want one

I have wanted a device with a larger screen than N900 for browsing while lying down on a bed. This seems like the one. I have no idea how to order one, though...

Here's a device that looks like it(although it has white edges, and seem a bit more flimsy): http://pricedinchina.com/7-android-t...apad-m003.aspx

Whoah, that is now cool
I think, I'll take a look tomorrow in the city and see whether they have one or not. It seems to have all the specs the IPad has, except the multi-touch (at least it wasn't shown, but it seems to have 3G support, take a look at the Android's bar).
If I get one I'll make a small video of it and report the specs. It sure is interessting as it uses Android and only is around 100$.
Cheers,
mikki-kun
