Hello everyone,

I started using my n900 about 3 weeks ago. Have been babying it.

I notice that the earpiece on the phone seems to be intermittant. Sometimes it will go very very low, then jump. As if there is a bad solder joint, or ribbon cable faulty.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? How would I get this repaired?

I'm still trying to narrow down exactly where the issue is. I think it's in the face.

Okay, when I move the phone around while talking on it the earpiece will jump between full volume and really low volume, with static in the way. Looks like defective hardware.

Grrrr.

I am also having the same problem with my n900. Even when I use headphones I sometimes encounter the problem. When I move the phone around while talking I notice it also goes from full volume to almost nothing.
