Helllo guys! So i have overclocked my N900 with Titanīs Kernel via that software Enhanced Linux Kernel for power users and i saw today at gsmarena that the new PR1.2 became official and soon iīll want to update my phone.
Question is if iīll be able to update do PR1.2 without any problem if Titans Kernel is installed?
Or iīll have to deinstall the kernel, reflash my original kernel and then update and then install the kernell to overclok again?

thanks in advance

If you flash your phone the kernel will be rewritten to the stock one.

EDIT: I think the same applies if you use NSU or update it OTA.

simply flash it to pr 1.2 and then reinstall the enhanced kernel

thanks to you all, but it still not clear.
i want to know if i update via NSU will need to deinstall titans kernel first or not. Itīs a simple question.
At the link grant listed, says only via OTA i have to deinstall titans kernel.
And via NSU? do i have to deinstall the kernel?
another question came to my head, is if i simple click in the icon at N900īs menu to deinstall Titans kernel, it will get back to the stock Nokia kernel or i have to reflash my phone?

You can receive the OTA update normally. No need to revert to the stock kernel first. PR1.2 will overwrite Titan's kernel. You'll have to re-install it if you want to overclock again. He's updating his kernels now.

If you want to uninstall his kernel just click on the uninstall icon. No need to reflash.

The NSU update method is just another way of flashing the device, so just as much work as the flasher

Crashdamage, are you saying updating via OTA will delete Titan's Kernel?
what about some mods made to the system? will these mods be deleted as well?

Many thanks
