Please tell how to input "%" sign by using physical n900 keyboard ?

Press blue arrow and then Ctrl (Sym) to bring up a list of various special characters (including %)

Actually i want to input midlet url address in microemulator where onscreen keyboard is not working , i have to input through physical keybord

As root, edit the file /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/nokia_vndr/rx-51

Find the following section(assuming you're using English base):

partial hidden alphanumeric_keys
xkb_symbols "english_base" {
Replace the key AD05 as followed:

    key <AD05>  { [     t,              T,              5,              percent         ] };
Run the following command:

hildon-im-xkbtool -m nokiarx51 -l us
From now on SHIFT+ALT+5=%
