When everi try to open my fm transmitter it gives me an error message saying unable to open. And my media player usually freezes and takes about 2 minutes to respond... I need help....dont know nutin about programming

You *really* gave people ample chance to respond between your posts didn't you!

How about reboot your phone, see if that helps.

rebooting did not help.. i tried it... i restarted my phone with default setting.. it didnt help

You might have to re-flash your phone then, unless someone knows how to target it via apt-get.

how can i re-flash my phone...wat software should i download to do it and can i do it my self

Ok, here we go:

1. Perform a backup using the Backup utility in your menu.

2. Plug in usb to PC in mass storage mode & transfer backup from N900 to PC.

3. Unplug USB

4.Go to http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php

5. Enter IMEI number to gain access to the site (type *#06# and your IMEI will be shown on screen)

6. Download Flasher 3.5, 'RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin', and 'RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin'.

7. Install Flasher 3.5 on your PC

8. Copy 'RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin', and 'RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin' to (assuming windows) c:\program files\maemo\flasher-3.5\

9. Fully charge N900

10. Open command prompt (run>cmd)

11. type
Code:
cd "%ProgramFiles%\maemo\flasher-3.5"
12. type
Code:
flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f
(all on 1 line)

13. wait, when complete type
Code:
flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R
(all on 1 line)

Done.

You can now restore your backup, if I were you I wouldn't restore your 'Settings', only contacts and programs.

Make sure you back up everything on your N900 before starting as this will erase EVERYTHING.
