wow, thanks. I'll have to give it a try.

loc files are only one cache at a time, right?

It didn't seem to like a .gpx (pocket query) file I tried.

.loc files can have any amount of cache

If you use gpsbabel to convert just about any poi to gpx then

http://www.rikcull.f2s.com/poi_loader06.zip

will also import to mapper. Along with a lot of other functionality.

Poi_Loader is a windows vb6 prog.

Ah, ok. Thanks. Garmin recently released a POI app for the Mac.

I updated the application and now is pulling the description of the cache too. In the poi.db you'll have the title, the coordinates and the long description.
