Hi,

Been trying to play youtube vids, was redirected to flash website on web browser and installed flash player but still had no luck. Finally found 'tweak flash plugin' on the application manager and tried to install this but I am presented with an error that says unable to install due to conflicting application packages.

Anyone know how to deal with this issue?

thanks

First of all, never install Flash offered by sites on the N900. Ever. Even if it's Adobe. They will all try to install the desktop version and will fail. As for tweakflashver, what packages are conflicting (see problems tab at install) ?

Libqt4-opengl
maemo 5
libqt4-sql-sqlite
libqt4-sql
libqt4-svg
libqt4-network

all means nothing to me, let me know if you need anymore details on those!

What firmware version are you sporting there (settings->about) ? Sounds like you're not up to date, or that your install is seriously messed up...

Yep, you're a few revisions back... 02-8 is February (a.k.a. PR 1.1.1), tweakflashver needs at least 19-1 (a.k.a. PR1.2). If you're unable to update the "Maemo 5" package (which is really the firmware), you might need to reflash to get newer stuff.
