I'm no longer able to log directly into e.g. Facebook, twitter, or Maemo.org. I now get the login page. I'm not sure what I changed. Lately I've installed TweakFlashPlugin and LiveWallpaper. The only "Dev" apps (I think) I have installed are AbiWord, Gnumeric, and Stellarium.

Any idea what I've messed up? Every time I log in I check the "remember me" box, but it doesn't seem to help. In the browser "Enable Password Saving" is checked and Accept Cookies is set to Always.

Thanks,

Same here. I am little puzzled why, because I do not think any components related have been updated lately to change this.

But, microb still remembers the passwords on some sites if I first give a wrong user or/and password and the site redirects me a page which is simplier and asks user+password again.

I've had this many times in the past, specially with Facebook, kept telling me I'd changed my password and do I remember doing it. It's normally sorted itself out within a day or two.
But MicroB does go round the tank once in a while for me, not sure why, but I'm guessing it's probably dodgy cookies or a corrupt file in the browser history or cache.

Try clearing all your private data but leave Saved passwords unchecked.

I had the same issue. I fixed it by going to root and doing an mv on the .mozilla/microb subdirectory to microbBackup. The browser recreated the directory again... appears to be a bug of some sort.

Does this "lose" any data? Are bookmarks etc. maintained?

Any suggestion for an "end user" set of instructions? {e.g. where is .mozilla?}
