I think i have encountered the dreaded eMMC problems that this phone has...

1. Text message conversations are not saving and sending/receiving them is problematic
2. Cannot access my music library(even though its on a MicroSD card)
3. Cannot access pictures (even though it is on my MicroSD)

I had issues in the past where my music files wouldn't be recognized but I just figured that this was a problem with the contacts with the SD card....

Any recommendations you guys can give to fix this issue other than sending it in for warranty?

Also, all of my home screens are fine. They stay in place and everything. That's why i thought it was the eMMC.

I suggest posting this question to one of many existing threads about eMMC issue, or even if it's worthy to stand on its own to at least give a properly descriptive thread title.

Too bad when I look it up, there aren't any threads i can find on the first few pages that talk about eMMC as the core issue.

Running that command shows that /hom is 100%

it also says that /opt is 100%
same with /dev/mmcbk9p2

Do I just need to uninstalled unneeded apps?

Scratch that, it says no applications installed.

I had something that was ridiculously large, I've already followed some of the guides that recommend disabling the repositories and uninstalling games which i've done. Surprisingly, one game took up something like 80MB... and I don't even have doom installed.

I think this should remedy the issue, but for some reason I cannot run the apt-get clean and apt-get autoremove commands once i've run the SUDO GAINROOT command to gain root access. Is there another way to gain root access?
