Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but here it goes ...

I am interested in finding a suitable emulator for a mobile device (e.g. N800).
I did investigate the possibility of using the Android Emulator that comes with the Android SDK... But this seems to focus more on emulating the Android OS and s/w environment and less on the h/w resources/environment available on mobile devices...
Basically, is there an emulator/simulator that can be used to check the performance of an application developed for a mobile device?
