I'm a total newbie. I'm very sorry if this was asked before.

Can I play these kind of files on an n800?

secure .wma files encoded at 32 kbps (audiobooks) and/or 64 kbps (music

I want to play this type of file.

I don't even have my n800 yet, it's coming. I would have tried it myself if I could. I'm wondering if someone knows if I will be able to use this kind of file.

Thanks

louis,

I download audiobooks from my libary using overdirve. The files are split very nicely so you do not have to rename and merge files. However, the files are DRM protected. In order to listen to them on your N800 you will have to remove the DRM encoding.

Here is a site that might help.

Good luck,

John

Thanks for the info John.

Yes our library uses this system as well.

I take it that you actually got your files to work?
