first i di search for a similar topic and i did change everysingle setting in my phone but it still get this problem.

well here is what is happening:
a few days before i had this problem in my phone, it just keeps looking for a connectiong everwhere i go, my house (ok this one is fine) but in the bus in my univeristy, street and yes in the bathroom....
it wasnt much of a big problem before because it happends like 2-3 time in the whole day, but recently 2 days ago it just keep asking me to connect like there a dieng app looking forward to get internet connection like there is no tomorrow, withc is driving me crazy, i cant play games or look my mail in the way i want to anymore, the only way to stop was to go offline but now ( yesterday) it asked to go online mode like 233424 times....

do you think is because an appp? or i brike my phone?

alsso if you some tips i'd love to read them.

There is an app the autoconnects to open WIFI's, its named "Autofreewifi" , Maybe its that one if you have downloaded it. I wont say it is, since ive never used that app, But sound like it would search for wifi all the time.

If its now Autofreewifi, I cant help you

It could also be some map/GPS program is trying get updated maps or use assisted GPS (i'm not sure exactly how it works, but it involves talking with some server on the internet to help get a lock on the satellites quicker; many dedicated GPS devices have additional hardware and/or software resources builtin that the N900 and most other GPS capable mobile phone-like devices don't got, hence why AGPS is needed)

both of them are good answerd, it does help me.
could be gps i though about that, i will try some wifi disconnect app too
