I have the same problem!
in my case the update was successful (via wifi)
but after rebooting the same effects...

I went to panic mode and reflashed whole phone, few seconds too late =) Anyway do i enter that sudo command to my windows cmd ? And what it does is that it replaces the broken kernel with new one ? Just asking for future
flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R

oh sry, no, there is no sudo in windows just
and it replaces your current kernel with the one in the <firmware-image> that you've downloadedCode:flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R
note: there are issues with the flasher and windows x64, so if you have to flash, you better get a liveCD of ubuntu, and read the entire wiki just to be sure
