Since installing 1.3 I am no longer able to use any word editing package. Koffice which was my editor of choice used to allow me to read things but was clunky and not very good on the small N900, It at least showed me files and let me read them.
Since 1.3 it now has around 3 of every 7 pages blank. Not because of removed text or inserting blank pages, but instead it is converting all text on those pages to white. If I highlight them I can see the white text in that horrible yellow highlight colour. I have around 40 documents that are fine in MS office on my works machine, in ubuntu and open office on my home machine but rendered useless on my N900. Tried the text colour change and the uninstall then reinstall route. To no avail.
Abiword has never really worked for me, crashing often and leaving pink coding brackets throughout my documents meant I rarely used it. However trying it as a replacement to Koffice isn't possible as it crashes on load. I can't even open a document anymore.
Has something happened to either of them in the wake of PR 1.3. I have hunted the forums and seen nothing but happy people at the programs being ported or released to the N900. Then silence.
