Hello, I'm having trouble receive valid signal from my GPS recently,
I've uninstalled all GPS app and install them again but still got no luck..
Tried changing the gps settings in settings > location but it doesn't affect it at all

So i was wondering, is there anyway to uninstall and install the driver of the GPS?
Maybe i'm not using the correct term, but basically i want to be able to reset the GPS driver so that it's back to the original settings..

Its stupid but turn off power saving mode in Settings -> Display. The GPS for some reason starts working as it should.

what is your current problem? your gps show coordinate far from your current place?
if that so, disable your network positioning (Settings -> Location), then start your gps until you've get the valid coordinate. also try to change your location server (supl.nokia.com, or supl.google.com)

supl.google.com always used to give me a much faster yield when tethering to GPS satellites but then for some reason it just conked out on me and I had to revert to supl.nokia.com. However, changing the provider for tethering would have been my suggestion as well.

Settings > Location > Location Server.

Try supl.google.com
