I'm trying to get Huawei e160e to work on maemo and n800. I have n800 with host mode and powered usb hub. After many hours of trying, I haven't got it working. Looks like n800 is not recognising it when huawei does some kind of reconnect after 30sec of connecting it to usb hub. Here's what I did:
n800 to host mode:
echo host > /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode
disable usb suspend because huawei was not recognised in any way when it was enabled. -1 did not work so i put 900:
echo 900 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend
insmod usbserial.ko and option.ko
then i connect usb hub to n800
I tried to use usb_modeswitch but it didn't change anything.
