Given the small size of my N800 I find the unit's charger way too big (and I wish Nokia had thought of making a USB charging option). Has anyone seen a smaller, more compact, charger anywhere?

Hi,

I have been using the boxwave mini sync charger Nokia E62. It works via USB
and you can buy a wall charger plug for it as well. It's very small.

Here's the link.

Hi Nash, nice looking solution. Does it also work as a USB cable with the tablet for data transfer?

Hi Nash,

Looks ideal. Are you *sure* this works with the N800 (whose original charger is rated at 5V/890 mA)? The website seems to suggest that the only two Nokia devices compatible with this charger are the Nokia E61 and the Nokia E62...

Hi vees,

It does charge via USB and data transfer at the same time.

I do not know anything about voltage.

The pin is the same size as the N800 pin. Also I use it on my nokia phone and
it's a 6102i.

The best part about this charger is that it's very small and handy.

Wanted to add: I went to the Nokia site and E62 and N800 use the same
charger

I just bought one of these yesterday. I hope it'll work.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Retractable-USB-...QQcmdZViewItem

It's 13 bucks cheaper (@ approx 5 dollars) than the OP's cable. It's retractable, and goes from USB->Nokia.

I hop to find out in a week or so if it's the right thing.
