The Following User Says Thank You to kureyon For This Useful Post: | ||
I've been searching for a solution but I can't find one, sadly.
I'm using tracker.cfg to stop tracker from scanning certain directories wich works really well.
You even got an option to stop tracker from indexing certain filetypes in a given directory. What I can't figure out is how to tell it that it should not index files in a set of subdirectories, namely all directories "below" /home/user/MyDocs/.sounds/ as I don't want all the albumart in the pictureviewer.
Sure, I could add any single folder but that would be quite dumb as I change my music regulary.
Is there a way that tracker ignores all .jpg and .png in all subdirectories?
TIA,
Glasswalker
