First of all I want to say hello to everyone here since I'm a newbie on the forum and to the N900

I just got my N900 and installed some apps and being the lucky guy I am I can't have everything working properly. So these are the problems I have:
1) firefox I've got 2 problems:
---1.1) when I start the app it starts loading then turns off and after few seconds magically starts for real
---1.2) I don't know how to install adobe flash player (or rather which package form adobe's site) so I could watch videos on youtube.
2) media player:
---2.1) on my playlists (with flac files) the media player doesn't play the first file on the playlist saying that it "cannot find multimedia file"
---2.2) I can't "navigate" through flac files
3) how to configure autodisconnect so I could save battery
4) how to rearrange the menu with catorise installed

Hi welcome to the forum.
I suggest you post in the relevant apps anounce thread if you have bugs.

Heavy apps take a few seconds to start.
Flash is already installed in microb
Install autodisconnect and set up using common sense
ApMeFo is better than catorise, you will also want to install a modified hildon desktop to combat the bug with short menus, otherwise you will find yourself running out of battery rather rapidly.

Regarding catorise, which i like a lot, try installing catorisegui, which you will find in the desktop menu later.

James_Littler - thanks for the tips. I know that MicroB has got flash installed but afaik firefox on N900 can't make any use of it and that results in it being unable to play videos on youtube. So my question actually is how to make Firefox capable of playing videos on youtube (or if possible playing flash on other sites aswell).

Once u have firefox open then swipe ur finger towards the left and go to settings & in there click on add-ons and install flash player.

Ok, so I've managed to fix the previous problems and now I come with 3 new ones (more questions than problems).

1. Is there a widget for making phone calls that would open up a customizable list only after pressing it? The contact shortcuts are quite big and I would like to turn them into an icon that would show a circle/grid/whatever of contacts I put there.

2. How to force Firefoxe's phony extension to keep it's settings? After turning off and then on the browser the option is set back to default.

3. Is there a way to make the alarm clock sound to play for longer than 30 seconds? I've got some music I'd like to turn into alarm sound but some of them kick in pretty late.
