I have a USB huewei data card for GSM that I wanted to try to get running on my N800. When hooking it up in host mode I see it is correctly identified and enumerated, but then it says:

Rejected 1 configuration due to insufficient available bus power
and then something like:
192mA power budget left.

So if I can figure a way to power this externally will the N800 still reject this device? Do I have to do anything special software-wise when it is externally powered?
