hey so i really wanna play tuxrace on my n900. i just installed it from appmanager and it installed fine. then when i launch it, the black window opens showing that its loading and it crashes and closes. i cant even see the game start. it closes before it can start. i had the same problem with some game beat2 which i uninstalled. it was also not starting.
help would be appreciated.

Start the gam in xterm. That means:
You open the "X - Terminal" and type there:
Paste (if any) the error output here. That will help us to find the solution.

how strange? The library should be called libvorbisfile.so.3. Did you cut and paste that text or did you type it?

Anyway this hopefully fixes it:

hey yea its libvorbisfile.so. i entered that command and it showed it installing and setting up and then exit. then i started game, again it didnt start. and then i started with xterminal same thing about libvorbisfile.so

how annoying it should have been included..

now it says libsmpeg-0.4.so.0 not found

apt-get install libsmpeg0

i am feeling like i am at the ping pong match. anyway i hope you fix your game. I can't recall it right, but i think i had somthing like this with tuxrace too. Although i don't remember what i did to fix it. Probably reflashed.
