Whenever my device tries to connect to Mail for Exchange, I get the following error:

"Either Exchange server requires secure connection or account is disabled"

Pretty useless.

We're running Windows Server 2003, and this account has full permission to access Exchange on mobile devices - it in fact works fine on my (evil drumroll) iPhone.

The mail server certificate is self-signed.

I am the net admin on this (small) network so can make any changes needed.

Read some old articles from 2009, but it's now 2011, so assuming any bug reports from then should have been fixed by now!

All/Any ideas welcome??

Thanks,
Gavin

I've used Exchange 2003 with a self-signed certificate, so I know it is possible.

First most basic questions: Are you using PR1.1 (or newer) and did you import your certificate into the N900?
