theres one on ebay for 90 us dollars, but i doubt u can go much cheaper than that for a genuine one.

if i where to do it, there would be 2 options, i buy covers and send them with the battery, or you can just buy the cover yourself, look to my thread (in my signature) for guide to buy the mugen XL cover for the N900 (on some of the last pages.....)

how about the dual battery mod, many new creative mods have been shown im my thread, so you don't have to make the "advanced" mod that i make
Remember you can make a better then mugen battery this way for about 30$ (with cover)
