I got the USB port from my N900 broken and send it back to amazon. Two weeks later tehy sended me a new one back. My old phone was 24/4 overclocked to 1 ghz, but if i ocerclock my new one above 900 mhz it reboots. Can anybody help?

Some chips handle the OC better than others, it's on phone-by-phone basis. So the simple answer is, keep your OC at or under 900MHz. A 900MHz vs 1GHZ clock speed shouldn't make a difference in everyday use anyway. Well other than the "I haz faster speed cuz the number is bigger" argument.

I'm not sure but I heard that these chips handle to 1GHZ in standard. You could use this argument. However telling them that u overclocked your nokia can cancel guarantee

Try to up the voltages a bit for 1Ghz.

These chips are rated for 500MHz standard, and 600MHz in "overdrive", with reduced lifetime.

There are chips rated for 720MHz overdrive and 1000MHz overdrive too of the same model.
