Appears to work with some issues - cannot resolve hostnames. If you have a stream with an m3u playlist, grab the host out of the playlist and resolve it, then connect directly to the stream:

(this line skips the bogus 'ads' placed in the metadata using regex. The particular station I listen to always puts their website url scattered through the tracks)

Very nice stuff indeed. Any chance you could ask streamtuner maintainer to integrate support for streamripper (maybe even combine them as one package?)?
