Just purchased a Nokia 770 tablet. Nice unit. I just upgraded the RS-MMC card from 64mg to 512mg. As far as virtual memory it only sees 64mg of the 512mg. Is this the limit for virtual memory? Internal 64 plus 64 on the card= 128mg of useable ram? So then the balance would be for mp3's or video's? Just plain storage for programs?

Thanks, hopefully this wasn't asked before and yes, I'm newish to Linux.

64MB is the limit for virtual memory on the 770 (128MB on the N800). The balance you can use for storage, but programs will need to be installed on the internal flash - you can't install programs on your MMC card unless you clone the whole OS to MMC (there's another thread about that somewhere on this forum) and with only a 512MB it's probably not worthwhile.

Thanks for the information, I was afraid of that answer.
