Hi All

Does anyone know if it is possible to download the archived articles list saved in feedingit to a desktop to use there as well? Sorry if its a dumb question - I'm definitely a newbie

Yes. they are in /home/user/.feedingit folder
Each subfolder seems to correspond to a feed, and there seem to be *.html files for the articles.
But the file names are generated keys, so you will have to rename them (or find the names in the associated *.db files, but I have no idea of the format used).

BTW, users who like FeedingIt might also take a look at TweedSuit, which though primarily known as a Twitter client, also has a nice capability to display RSS feeds. I will probably stick with FeedingIt, but alternatives are welcome.

The .db files are sqlite3 databases, and the filenames are md5 hashes of the titles.

I had given some time ago in the main thread a way to export the titles and links from the Archived Articles section to a text file. See this post:
